Car accidents keep happening around all over the world every single day. It makes hundreds of thousands of people die, as one of the most dangerous things. Whether you drive or not, you might become one of its victims one day. But most car crashes can be avoided as long as people follow the rules and have good judgment. I had a car accident after receiving my driving license, and fortunately I was not injured. But not everyone is as lucky as I was. We should do something to make people know how to avoid this kind of accident.

If you don't want to be injured or dead in a car crash, you must drive safely and obey the law. Traffic rules exist to protect you, not restrict your freedom. Breaking the rules may seem like fun but it's only going to hurt you in the end. Wearing your seatbelt, putting your toddler in a car seat, following traffic signals, etc. is all meant to keep you safe. And be conscious of current conditions. Sixty mph may be safe when it's dry, but if a sudden rain falls, wetting the roadway and raising oil off the ground, it will probably be safer to drive at a lower speed. Stay as calm as you can. The worst possible thing that you can do is panic. Panic will cause you to waste precious seconds and make mistakes that could end up being tragic. It's important for you to focus on one thing, and one thing alone: getting out.

Buy a safe car with seat belt and other safety features. Before you drive out of town on the road, you should consider which route are the best for you to get to your destination. This will avoid the possibility of having to rush and drive too fast. Limit or eliminate the use of cell phones, perhaps to be used only in cases of emergencies. If you must use your cell phone to make a call, pull over to the side of the road or off the road to do so. Complete your call before you resume your driving. Also eliminate any extra activities like makeup application, reading the newspaper or even drinking beverages.

A comprehensive coverage of car insurance for you must be necessary. Driving without insurance isn't just irresponsible; it's also a criminal offence. If you have a car accident while uninsured, you could find yourself without a driving license as punishment. Not to mention the money you will have to pay out of your own pocket towards car accident claims. Be a responsible driver. Insure yourself and your car.
